Planning board

Which orders are shown, and how, depends on the data you select in the Select Data for Production Planning Board (tisfc1121m000) session and the planning board settings in the Planning Board Groups (tccom5100s000) session.

Graphical options

Change the size of the planning board area. The planning board consists of two areas: the data on the left, and the graph on the right. The boundary line between these two areas has a double line, which you can drag with the mouse. You can browse vertically and horizontally by using the scroll bars.

Mouse actions
  • Double-click an order or operation to change the color for the entire order.
  • If you have started the planning board from the Production Planning by Planning Board (tisfc1120m000) session, you can use the left mouse button to drag and reschedule an operation. This alters the Remaining Time field.
Note

You can move an operation forwards and backwards in time by dragging the operation on the planning board. Whether the production-order start date will also change, depends on the Automatic Update Production Order Start Date parameter in the Shop Floor Control Parameters (tisfc0100s000) session.

If the Automatic Update Production Order Start Date check box is selected, the production-order start date can change when moving an operation in time. The Planned Delivery is changed in the Production Orders (tisfc0501m000) session. The Requested Delivery is not changed.

If the Automatic Update Production Order Start Date check box is cleared, the following can occur:

  • If the operation moves forwards in time, the production-order end date changes, but the production-order start date does not change.
  • If the operation moves backwards in time, so that the operation starts and ends before the production-order start date, the production-order start date does not change.
