MBC Number The code of the MBC to which revisions are linked. MBC Number The MBC's status. Engineering Item The E-item whose revisions are linked to the MBC. For more details, double-click the E-item. Description The description or name of the code. Rev. The E-item revision, which is linked to the MBC. Status The status of the revision. Effective Date Expiry Date When the revision is no longer valid. Engineer The employee responsible for the revision. E-Item Revision Text If this check box is selected, a text is present. To view the text, click the Text button. Material What the revision is made of, for example paper, plastic, or wood. BOM Quantity The number of manufactured items to which a bill of materials (BOM) applies. The BOM quantity enables you to specify very small item quantities as BOM components. Example You need very small amounts of certain colors to mix one liter of a specific paint, Cotton White. Therefore, a BOM quantity of 1000 liter is defined. The component quantities for the paint can then be as follows:
Size How large the revision is. For example 200 mm x 1 meter. Unit Set Norm Standard The company, national or international standard to which the revision conforms (or must conform). For example, ISO 8601, NEN 3140, BS 1383. Unit Weight
