Mandate Status

  • Not Active

    The mandate can be changed, but cannot be used in the direct debit advice.

  • Active

    The mandate cannot be changed except for the First Collection Date and Final Collection Date fields. The mandate can be used in the direct debit advice.

  • Amended

    The mandate has been changed and a new mandate with a reference to this one has been activated. The amendment date and amendment reason can be changed.

    When the amendment data is referenced in a direct debit file, the mandate can no longer be changed.

  • Expired

    The mandate can no longer be used.

  • Cancelled

    The mandate can no longer be used.
