Sales Order Type - Activities (tdsls0560m000)

Use this session to view and maintain the activities that are linked to the order type.

In this session, LN automatically links a number of mandatory activities to the order type, as well as a number of optional activities. If you do not want the optional activities to be linked to the order type, you can delete them.

Note
  • For a number of activities, actual execution of the activity is determined by LN during the order procedure. For more information refer to Flexible sales order processing.
  • For collect orders, all linked activities are Automatic.
  • If you have defined an activity in the Block As of Activity field of the Sales Order Types (tdsls0594m000) session, you cannot delete the activity in this session.

You can start this session:

  • From the Sales Order Types (tdsls0594m000) session, by clicking Activities on the appropriate menu.
  • From the Sales Order Type - Activities (tdsls0694m000) session, by entering or maintaining a line on the Activities tab.
  • Stand-alone.

 

Sales Order Type

The order type, which determines the sessions that are part of the order procedure and how and in which sequence this procedure is executed.

Effective Date

The sales order type's effective date.

Expiry Date

The sales order type's expiry date.

Activity

The activity that is linked to the sales order type.

Sequence

A number that expresses the sequence for each activity in the business process.

Automatic

If this check box is selected, the activity is automatically executed. If this check box is cleared, you must manually execute the activity.

Execution of the order procedure activities can start when you approve the sales order. After approval of an order, all automatic activities are executed successively until an activity is defined as not automatic. After you executed the non-automatic activity manually, LN executes the next automatic activity, and so on.

If the Automatic check box is selected, you must also fill the Device field.

Note
  • Although the activities Release Sales Orders to Warehousing (tdsls4246m000) and Maintain Deliveries Sales Order Lines (tdsls4101m200) can both be linked as a mandatory activity to the order type, either the Release Sales Orders to Warehousing (tdsls4246m000) activity, or the Maintain Deliveries Sales Order Lines (tdsls4101m200) activity is executed during the order procedure. You cannot execute both activities for the order type. For more information, refer to Flexible sales order processing.
  • You cannot select the Automatic check box for the activity Sales Order Invoice Lines (tdsls4106m100). For more information, refer to Customer approval.
Copies

The number of copies of the relevant document that you want to print.

Note
  • The number of copies is used as the default when you print a particular document.
  • Only define a number of copies if the activity is a print session.
Device

The device used as a default when you print a particular document.

Note

If the Automatic check box is selected for an activity, it is mandatory to enter a device in this field.

Effective Date

The activity's effective date.

Note

Mandatory activities do not have effective and expiry dates.

Expiry Date

The activity's expiry date.

Note

Mandatory activities do not have effective and expiry dates.

Manual Activity

If this check box is selected, the activity is manually entered.

Note

Manual activities must be manually executed.
