The MRP is defined for each state and is specific to sales tax, service tax, customs and excise duty. The MRP of an item is used to calculate tax for the corresponding duty type. For Example: for duty of the type Excise, the MRP Price/Inv. Unit defined for Excise is used.

Note The MRP Price/Inv. Unit is used to calculate the tax amount for the type of tax specified in this field. Effective Date The date and time from when the MRP Price/Inv. Unit for a specific Duty/Tax Type is effective. LN uses the MRP value until the Expiry Date. Expiry Date The date and time when the MRP Price/Inv. Unit for a specific Duty/Tax Type expires. You can define MRP for different periods. MRP Price/Inv. Unit The maximum retail price of an item for each inventory unit. When MRP is applicable for an item, it is used to calculate tax amount for the specified Duty/Tax Type. Discount Percentage The percentage of discount applicable on the MRP. The tax amount is calculated on the MRP after deducting the discount.
Print MRP of Item Starts the Print MRP of Item (tcibd9439m00l) session, which prints the MRP values. View Effective Data Displays the effective MRP values for the item and business partner. View All Data Displays all the effective and expired MRP values for the item and business partner.
