Item Data for Indian Localization (tcibd9137m00l)

This functionality is specific for India.

Use this session to maintain the Indian localization data for an item. This session is enabled only when the Indian Localizations Applicable check box is selected in the India Localization Parameters (tccom9136m00l) session.

Note

You must maintain the Indian localization data of the item before using an item in a sales or purchase order.

 

Item

The item code. The value is defaulted from the Item field in the Items - General (tcibd0501m000) session.

Item Description

The description or name of the code.

Search Key

The search key.

Excisable

If this check box is selected, excise duty is levied on the item.

Note

The check box is enabled only if the Excise Applicable check box is selected in the Excise tab of the India Localization Parameters (tccom9136m00l) session.

Cenvatable

If this check box is selected, the excise duty on the item is added to the CENVAT credit at the time of receipt of goods.

Note

The check box is enabled only if Excisable check box is selected in the Excise group box.

Item Category

The category of an item. This field can have the following values

  • Capital: Select the option for a capital item.
  • Non-Capital: Select the option for a non-capital item.
MRP for Excise

If this check box is selected, excise duty is calculated on MRP of the item. LN calculates the excise duty on the value specified in the MRP Price/Inv. Unit field when the Duty/Tax Type is set to Excise Duty in the MRP of Item (tcibd9139m00l) session for the item, order type and state, specified in the order line.

Note

The check box is enabled only if Excisable check box is selected in the Excise group box.

MRP for VAT

If this check box is selected, VAT is calculated on MRP of the item. LN calculates the VAT on the value specified in the MRP Price/Inv. Unit field when the Duty/Tax Type is set to Sales Tax in the MRP of Item (tcibd9139m00l) session for the item, order type and state, specified in the order line.

MRP for Service Tax

If this check box is selected, service tax is calculated on MRP of the item. LN calculates the service tax on the value specified in the MRP Price/Inv. Unit field when the Duty/Tax Type is set to Service Tax in the MRP of Item (tcibd9139m00l) session for the item, order type and state, specified in the order line.

Item Category

The category of an item. This field can have the following values

  • Capital: Select the option for a capital item.
  • Non-Capital: Select the option for a non-capital item.
Excisable

If this check box is selected, the excise duty is levied on the imported item.

Note

The check box is enabled only if Excise Applicable and Imports Applicable check boxes are selected in the India Localization Parameters (tccom9136m00l) session.

Cenvatable

If this check box is selected, the excise duty and the claimable customs duty on the item are added to the CENVAT credit at the time of receipt of goods.

Note

The check box is enabled only if Excisable check box is selected in the Imports group box.

MRP For Imports

If this check box is selected, customs duty is calculated on MRP of the item. LN calculates the customs duty on the value specified in the MRP Price/Inv. Unit field when the Duty/Tax Type is set to Customs in the MRP of Item (tcibd9139m00l) session for the item, order type and state, specified in the order line.

WIP Item

If this check box is selected, the item is used as a WIP item in subcontracting process. LN populates the Item Signal field in the Items - General (tcibd0501m000) session, with the value specified in the Signal Code for Blocking WIP Items field of the India Localization Parameters (tccom9136m00l) session.

RG23 A/C

If this check box is selected, the inventory quantities in the RG 23A, RG 23C registers are updated whenever a transaction of an excisable item takes place in the following circumstances:

  • The Item Type of the item is set to Purchased.
  • The order type is set to Production or Production Order.
RG1

The mode of updating the RG1 register whenever a transaction of an excisable item takes place in the following circumstances:

  • The Item Type of the item is set to Manufactured.
  • The order origin is set to Production or Production Order.

This field can have the following values

  • Automatic: The RG1 register is updated automatically.
  • No: The RG1 register is not updated.
  • Not Applicable: LN selects the option while migrating the old data.
  • Manual: The RG1 register can be updated manually. The stored data is displayed in the RG1 Interim Data (whinr9536m00l) session.

 

Print Item Data for Indian Localization

Starts the Print Item Data for Indian Localization (tcibd9437m00l) session, which prints the localization details of the item.
