The code of the inspection order.
Sample - Test Data by Characteristic (qmptc1115m000)Use this session to enter the actual test data after you measure a sample item. The test data is used to accept or reject a quantity based on the sampling results. Each sample which is tested is classified as either Good or Bad. If drawings are present, you can use the Drawing buttons to display:
Use the Evaluate Algorithm button to calculate the value of the algorithm characteristic based on the data of other characteristics. You cannot modify the calculated results. You can only apply this option to orders with an Active status.
Inspection Order The code of the inspection order. Sample Aspect Position The position in the BOM at which point a certain quality inspection is to take place. Characteristic Characteristic Type The type of value that is measured. Sample Part An identification number that LN generates to distinguish between the different measurements you can carry out in one sample quantity. The number of measurements is based on the test quantity. Example
Explanation: You need to do 5 tests on 20 pieces to get a sample quantity of 100 pieces (100/20=5). Consequently, 5 test lines will be generated, with each with a unique serial number. Note The total number of serial numbers cannot exceed the value of the sample quantity divided by the test quantity Serial Number The unique identification of a single physical item. LN uses a mask to generate the serial number. The serial number can consist of multiple data segments that represent, for example, a date, model and color information, sequence number, and so on. Serial numbers can be generated for items and for tools. Lot The unique code of the lot. Test Time The date on which the test takes place. The default date is the current date. Test Unit Note The characteristic unit is the default value. The test unit and the characteristic unit must have the same physical quantity. Measurement Value The result of the test. Enter a numeric value if you select Quantitative in the Result Type field, and if the Characteristic Type field is not set to Option. If an algorithm is specified for the inspection order line, the algorithm calculates the numeric value. Note You cannot modify the test result. Option Set A group of possible values of a characteristic. For each value (option) you can indicate whether it is acceptable or not. The options blue and red form an option set Example
Note You can enter an option set if the Characteristic Type field is on Option. Option The option that was found. Note Depending on what you enter in the Option Type field in the Option Set - Options (qmptc0114m000) session, the option is either Acceptable or Not Acceptable. Result The result of the inspection Note LN automatically generates a value in this field, depending on the quality limits you define in the Characteristics (qmptc0115m000) session and/or in the Option Set - Options (qmptc0114m000) session. Test Area Employee The employee who executed the test for this characteristic. Instrument The default instrument to measure the characteristic. Overall Result The overall result of the inspection, by order, sample, or serial number. Note The value of this field is automatically generated by LN, depending on the quality limits you define in the Characteristics (qmptc0115m000) session and/or in the Option Set - Options (qmptc0114m000) session. Item Description The description or name of the code. Instrument Number The number of the instrument that can be used to trace the instrument.
Evaluate Algorithm When you select Create Test Data Lines, no test lines are created for algorithm characteristics. When you select Evaluate Algorithm, the value of the algorithm characteristic will be calculated, based on the data of other characteristics. You cannot modify the calculated results. You can only apply this option to orders with status Active. Item Drawing If drawings are present, you can use this button to display how a item does look like. Create Test Data Lines When you select Create Test Data Lines in the Application menu, test data are generated based on the test quantity (see the Inspection Order - Samples (qmptc1110m000) session). Example
Explanation: You need to do 5 tests on 20 pieces to get a sample quantity of 100 pieces (100/20=5). Consequently, 5 test lines will be generated.
