Material availability checks

An ATP check is performed at the time of planning and an On Hand check is performed at the time of releasing the order.

New in Infor LN 10.4

You can check the Planned Available and On Hand inventory, at the time of planning the orders. The following new sessions are added:

  • A new session, Service Material Availability Overview (tstdm2520m000), is added to view and maintain the results of the three types of material availability checks that can be performed for a range of orders by a batch session, or for a single order during planning or releasing the order. You cannot change these values manually.
  • A new session, Check Material Availability (tstdm2220m000), is added to determine if the material is available for the service order, work order and the maintenance sales order; within the defined selection ranges.
  • A new session, Update Material Availability for Item (tstdm2221m000), is added to create or delete material availability lines for the items that are defined in the Items - Service (tsmdm2100m000) session and the Critical for Inventory Check check box is selected/cleared.
