Planned Inventory Transactions for Planned Activities

You can plan required material resources for a planned activity, only after the planned activity is transferred to a Service Order or a Work Order and the order is subsequently planned.

Before the Service Order or Work Orders are created, you can plan and purchase/produce the required materials in advance, using Enterprise Planning. For more information, refer to Planned Inventory Transaction for Planned Activities.
