Pegging

Before Infor LN 10.4 the effectivity units assigned to a project pegged distribution could only be zero or one. This limitation was removed in Infor LN 10.4 allowing you to prioritize inside of the production order.

The effectivity unit was removed from the material line to the level of the material distribution line. Multiple effectivity units can be used in one production order.

If the concept of costing breaks is implemented, non-pegged materials have a project peg distribution if they are part of a project pegged production order. The peg distribution holds the pegs for posting the cost to the project cost account at the moment of material issue. In case of costing breaks, the cost peg for the material could differ from the cost peg on the production order. In this case the material has a soft peg distribution and the corresponding material line on the subcontracting purchase order.
