Cross validation rules

In Infor LN 10.4, configuring cross validation rules is enhanced with the introduction of the following sessions:

  • Test Cross Validation Rules (tfgld0251m000)
  • Copy Cross Validation Rules Between Companies (tfgld0251m100)
  • Print Cross Validation Rule Violations (tfgld0451m000)
  • Print Cross Validation Rule Inconsistencies (tfgld0451m100)
Permissions

In Tools, the new Table Data Authorization Modeler (tldam1600m000) session allows you to set up role and user-based permissions by ledger account, dimension, and transaction type. As a result, you can further refine the rules for separation of tasks and confidential data.

Workflow

In General Ledger, the following processes are now enabled for use with ION Workflow:

  • Manual journals
  • Imported journals
  • Recurring journals

Infor LN-Approva integration

Approva continuously monitors transactions and authorization setup. Automatically exceptions are identified and breakdowns are controlled at the time they occur. By finding and correcting errors immediately, users reduce risk, automate compliance obligations, and eliminate waste.

The (optional) LN-Approva integration provides two types of monitoring:

  • User monitoring
    Includes more than 130 predefined rules that monitor the authorization setup in LN.
  • Transaction monitoring
    Includes more than 70 predefined rules that monitor LN transactions entered by the users.
