Operation subcontracting with material flow for requisitions and RFQs

Operation subcontracting without material flow is possible for purchase requisitions, requests for quotation (RFQs), and purchase orders. Consequently, these purchase documents can include subcontracted service items.

Operation subcontracting with material flow is not supported for purchase requisitions and RFQs.

Operation subcontracting with material flow is introduced for purchase requisitions and requests for quotation (RFQs).

Consequently, from a routing operation or production order, apart from generating requisitions for subcontracted service items, you can also generate requisitions for Purchased or Manufactured items with linked material supply information. These requisitions can also be converted to an RFQ.

New fields

The Subcontracted field is added to these sessions:

  • Purchase Requisition Lines (tdpur2502m000)
  • Request for Quotation Lines (tdpur1502m000)
  • RFQ Responses (tdpur1506m000)

The Material Supply Information field is added to these sessions:

  • Linked Requisition Line Data (tdpur2502s000)
  • Linked RFQ Data (tdpur1502s000)

The Estimated Material Line Number field is added to these sessions:

  • Linked Requisition Line Data (tdpur2502s000)
  • Linked RFQ Data (tdpur1502s000)
New command

The Material Supply Information option, which starts the Material Supply Lines (tirou2250m000) session, is added to these sessions:

  • Linked Requisition Line Data (tdpur2502s000)
  • Linked RFQ Data (tdpur1502s000)
