Nominal Values

Infor LN 10.3

Values only between the Norm and the Upper and Lower Limits fields of inspection orders (and for quantitative results) can be measured. The values can only be measured if the upper limit and lower limit, respectively, is greater or lesser than the norm. This limitation restricts the use of inspection when measuring values. For example, the measure values of the diameter of a shaft or a hole.

This restriction is removed by introducing nominal value tables where the upper or lower limit value can be greater or less than the nominal value.
