Use this session to convert a plan item's production plan and/or purchase plan to planned orders.

If a scenario's plan status is Closed, you can no longer modify the data that is related to this scenario.

Generate Planned Production Orders

If this check box is selected, LN converts the production plan for the selected plan periods to planned production orders.

Only in Order Horizon

If this check box is selected, LN only generates planned orders within the order horizon.

If this check box is cleared, LN also generates planned orders beyond the order horizon.

Generate Planned Purchase Orders

If this check box is selected, LN converts the purchase plan for the selected plan periods to planned purchase orders.

Note

LN only moves the purchase plan to planned purchase orders, and not to purchase schedule quantities.

Order Status to Firm-Planned

If this check box is selected, the planned orders that LN automatically generated get the Firm Planned order status. This prevents LN from removing these orders during a normal order planning run.

If this check box is cleared, the generated planned orders get the Planned order status.

Generate Report

If this check box is selected, LN creates a report that contains the exception messages and error messages that are generated during the process of generating planned orders.

Move in Multi-site

If this check box is selected, LN also moves master plans to planned orders in each plan site that falls in the specified range of sites.

The following conditions apply:

  • This option is only available if the specified scenario is a central multisite scenario.
  • LN only takes into account the plan sites that are linked to the central multisite scenario involved.
  • In each plan site involved, LN only takes into account the master plans that exist in the plan site's local scenario.
Note
  • You can designate a scenario as a central multisite scenario in the Scenarios (cprpd4100m000) session.
  • You can specify plan sites for a central multisite scenario (and a local scenario for each plan site) in the Scenario - Sites (cprpd4140m000) session.
