Change Location System by Warehouse (whwmd3205m000)

Use this session to:

  • Initiate location control for non-location controlled warehouses for which inventory is present.
  • Make items location controlled.

Initiating location control is the first step of the procedure to make non-location controlled warehouses location controlled. This step entails retrieving the stockpoint and inventory structure data of the items of the warehouse to be made location controlled and temporarily store this data in the Change Location System (whwmd3105m000) session. Optionally, you can define a receipt, inspection, reject, or staging location for the warehouse. The remainder of the procedure, which includes assigning pick and bulk locations to the items, is carried out in the Change Location System (whwmd3105m000) session.

For further information about making warehouses location controlled, see Making warehouses location controlled.
