Project Pegged Inventory - Detailed Views (whwmd2560m100)

Use this session to display details of the inventory specifically held for a project. Details are displayed by item, rather than by warehouse and project as in the Project Inventory (whwmd2560m000) session.

Item
The item that is held in inventory for the project.
Unit
The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter.

The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock.

Warehouse
The warehouse in which the project inventory is stored.
Project
The project for which the inventory is held.
Element
The smallest part of an element structure. An element is used to define the (structure of the) work of the project, so that you can carry it out.
Activity
The smallest part of the activity structure used for a time-scaled budget. An entity that is used to represent a part of a project in an activity structure.

LN distinguishes these activity types:

  • WBS Element
  • Control Account
  • Work Package
  • Planning Package
  • Milestone
Extension
The specific agreements within or in addition to the initial contract. An extension falls outside the initial contract with the sold-to business partner. Extensions can be assigned to the bottom-up budget.

LN distinguishes four extension types:

  • Scope Change
  • Provisional Amount
  • Fluctuation Settlement
  • Quantities to be Settled
Inventory on Hand
The inventory on hand for the project.
Allocated
The allocated inventory for the project.
Inventory Blocked
The disposition inventory blocked for allocation.
Borrowed
The quantity of the borrowed inventory expressed in the inventory unit.
Loaned
The quantity of the inventory loaned to another peg expressed in the inventory unit.
