| Inventory Overview (whinr2510m000) Use this session to view handling unit inventory data sorted by the indices defined in the Inventory Overview Definition (whinr2100m000) session. If you start this session, the handling units
in inventory or in transit are sorted according to the first index. To access
the other indices, on the appropriate menu, click Sort By and select the required index. Note You can use the Personalize Grid option from
the View menu to show
or hide fields from the Handling Units table (wmd530) or the Specifications
(tcibd420) table. Showing or hiding fields in this way does not affect the way
the handling units are sorted in the current session. Only the indices defined
in the Inventory Overview Definition (whinr2100m000) session determine how handling
units are sorted. Field The first field of the first index. The indices defined in the Inventory Overview Definition (whinr2100m000) session determine which fields from the

Handling Units table (wmd530) or the Specifications (tcibd420) table are shown
in the current session. For a description of these fields, see: Handling Unit Handling Unit The handling unit code that is used to uniquely identify the handling unit in LN. You can either
manually define handling units in this session or in the Compose Handling Units (whwmd5130m100) session, or generate handling units in various
stages of the inbound and outbound flows. If you manually define a handling
unit in this session, to define the handling unit code you can enter an
alphanumeric code in this field. To enable LN to generate
handling units, you must use Handling Unit Mask to define handling unit codes. When
a handling unit is generated, the handling unit code is generated as specified
in the handling unit mask. Item The item that is packed by means of the handling unit. Quantity in Storage Unit The quantity of items expressed in the storage unit. If the handling unit is a parent and one or more child handling
units of the parent are destroyed after inspection, the destroyed quantity is
subtracted from the parent's quantity displayed in this field. Note that if you manually create a
handling unit, you cannot specify the number of items to be packed by means of
the handling units. To pack items by means of a handling unit, you can use the Pack command on the appropriate menu of the Compose Handling Units (whwmd5130m100) session. For further information, see Pack: to generate a handling unit for several items. In addition, if handling units are
generated for receipts, shipments, advice, inspections, and order lines, the
handling units contain the number of items specified on the shipment, receipt,
and so on. Parent Handling Unit The parent of the current handling unit. Children Present If this check box is selected, the handling unit has
child handling units. Multi-Item Handling Unit If this check box is selected, the handling unit
contains items of more than one type. Warehouse The handling unit's status determines which warehouse is
displayed in this field: Received The warehouse in which the item must be put
away. Receipt Open The warehouse in which the item must be put
away. Open The warehouse from which the item must be picked. Shipment Frozen The warehouse from which the item must be
picked. In Transit The warehouse is retrieved from the inbound-order
line. Shipped No warehouse is specified. Inactive If the handling unit will be used to receive items, the
warehouse in which the item must be put away. If the handling unit will be used
to issue items, the warehouse from which the item must be picked.
Location The handling unit's status determines which location is
displayed in this field: Received The location in which the item must be put
away. Receipt Open The location in which the item must be put
away. Open The location from which the item must be
picked. Shipment Frozen The location from which the item must be
picked. In Transit The location is retrieved from the inbound-order
line. Shipped No location is specified. Inactive If the handling unit will be used to receive items, the
location in which the item must be put away. If the handling unit will be used
to issue items, the location from which the item must be picked.
Inventory Manufacturer The manufacturer of the item contained in the handling unit. LN retrieves the
manufacturer from the order line by means of which the item was originally
received. This field is empty if no manufacturer is specified on the order
line. Manufacturer Part Number The manufacturer part number of the item contained in the
handling unit.. LN retrieves the manufacturer part number from the order line by means of which
the item was originally received. This field is empty if no manufacturer part
number is specified on the order line. Lot The lot to
which the item in the handling unit belongs. Note If you scan a handling unit's label on receipt and the handling unit is specified for the ASN or ASN line in the Shipment Notices (whinh3100m000) session, LN retrieves the lot from the ASN or ASN line. If no lot is
specified on the ASN or no ASN is available for the receipt, LN retrieves the lot
from the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session, if specified. Effectivity Unit If you scan a handling unit's label on receipt and the handling unit is specified for the ASN or ASN line in the Shipment Notices (whinh3100m000) session or the Shipment Notice - Lines (whinh3101m000) session, LN retrieves the
effectivity unit from these sessions. If no effectivity unit is specified on
the ASN or no ASN is available for the receipt, LN retrieves the
effectivity unit from the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session, if specified. Inventory Date Note If you scan a handling unit's label on receipt, LN retrieves the inventory date from the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session when the receipt is confirmed. Packaging Quantity of Packaging Items The quantity of the packaging item that is used for the
handling unit. For example, the handling unit has 100 packaging items of type
Box. Labeled If this check box is selected, for each packing item
defined for the handling unit, a label record is created. These labels can be
printed. In this way, each existing packing item is uniquely identified. For
example, if the boxes on a pallet are labeled, each box obtains a label when
handling units are generated for an order for milk cartons. Complete If this check box is selected, the structure of the
handling unit has not changed since the handling unit was received in the
warehouse. If the structure of the handling unit is change after receipt, this
check box is automatically cleared. Quantity/Weight Composition Quantity in Inventory Unit The item quantity expressed in the inventory unit.
In addition, if handling units are
generated for receipts, shipments, advice, inspections, and order lines, the
handling units contain the number of items specified on the shipment, receipt,
and so on. Quantity in Inventory Unit The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is
recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter. The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure
conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the
price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use
the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all
item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock. Number of Visible Units The visible units of a handling unit are the units that you
can see. For example, if the handling unit is a pallet that contains 12 boxes,
the number of visible units is 12, because you can see units that are placed on
a pallet. If, on the other hand, the handling unit is a container that contains
three pallets, the number of visible units is one, because the only unit that
you can see is the container. In this field, you can manually enter
the number of visible units, but you can also use the Calculate Visible Units command to calculate this
number. The results calculated by this command are inserted in this field,
overwriting any manual insertions. Dimensions Gross Weight The gross weight of the handling unit. The gross weight is
the weight of all items and their packages in the handling unit. As a result,
the weights of all children and packaging items are included in the handling
unit's gross weight. For further information, see Handling unit dimensions. Net Weight The net weight of the handling unit. The net weight is the
weight of the items without packaging in the handling unit. As a result, the
net weights of all children are included in the net weight of the handling
unit, while the weights of all packaging items in the handling unit are
excluded. For further information, see Handling unit dimensions. Height The height of the handling unit. Height The unit in which the dimensions of the handling unit are expressed. Width The width of the handling unit. Depth The depth of the handling unit. Floor Space The surface area of the handling unit. Process Fully Blocked If this check box is selected, the entire stockpoint is
blocked. If this check box is cleared, the stockpoint is not
blocked or partially blocked. Status Splittable If this check box is selected, the handling unit can be
split up into two or more handling units, for example, as a result of inbound
advice to different locations. Miscellaneous Reference Any informative description field used to refer to, for
example: - The person or department with authorization to perform a
specific task.
- The business partner's contact.
- The original invoice number.
Last Transaction Date The date and time of the most recent modification of the
handling unit. Last Counting Date The date and time of the most recent date and time the items
contained in the handling unit were subjected to cycle counting. Ownership Company Owned Inventory If this check box is selected, the inventory contained
in the handling unit is company owned. Owner The business partner who owns the item(s) contained in the
handling unit. If this field is not filled, your own organization owns the
inventory. If the owner is not the same as the buy-from business partner, the owner is the internal business partner of another enterprise unit such as a division in another country, of your organization. If the
buy-from business partner is the owner, the items are held in not-owned
consignment. This field is empty if the items are company owned. Ownership The Ownership of the goods contained in the handling unit. Company Owned Allowed values - Consigned
- Customer Owned
- Not Applicable
Values Consigned and Customer Owned are not applicable if: - In the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4100s000) session, the value of the Ownership Registration Level field is unequal to Physical Item or Physical Item and Location.
- The handling unit contains no items other than packaging items and the Multi-Item Handling Unit check box is cleared, that
is, the handling unit is empty packaging.
Multi-owner If this check box is selected, the handling unit
contains child handling units belonging to different owners. If the handling
unit contains child handling units that belong to the different owners, the Owner field is empty and Multi-owner handling unit is allowed check box is
selected. Blocked Blocked for Outbound If this check box is selected, the items contained in
the handling unit are blocked for the outbound flow. Blocked for Transfer(Issue) If this check box is selected, the items contained in
the handling unit are blocked for transfers to other warehouses. Blocked for Cycle Counting If this check box is selected, the items contained in
the handling unit are blocked for cycle counting. Blocked for Assembly If this check box is selected, assembly is not allowed
for the items contained in the handling unit. Business Partner LN can use the items supplied by the current order
to fulfill an order for the sold-to business partner displayed in this field; LN does not use these
items for any other business partner. Business Object Type The type of order to which this order has been hard pegged. Note The following fields are always used in combination;
together, they identify the relevant order or order line: - Business Object Type
- Business Object
- Business Object Reference
