You can change the stockpoint view on the View menu. At the bottom of the overview session window, the totals for the inventory data are shown for the item.
Inventory Warehouse A place for storing goods. For each warehouse, you can enter
address data and data relating to its type. Location A distinct place in a warehouse where goods are stored. A warehouse can be divided into locations to manage the available space, and to locate the stored goods. Storage conditions and blocks can be applied to individual locations. Location Location Owner The business partner who owns the items stored in the
current location. The location is reserved for items owned by this business
partner. Item In LN,
the raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools that can be
purchased, stored, manufactured, sold, and so on. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit, or exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not held in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to customers. The following are examples of nonphysical items:
Effectivity Unit A reference number, for example a sales order line or a project
deliverable line, that is used to model deviations for a unit effective item. Item Inventory Date A date that is assigned to items when they are stored. You can
use inventory dates to retrieve items based on FIFO (First In First Out) or
LIFO (Last In First Out), without carrying out extensive lot control. The meaning of the inventory date is connected to the outbound priority of LIFO, FIFO, or the product expiry date of the item. With outbound priority LIFO or FIFO, the default for the inventory date is the system date; however, you can overwrite this so that the inventory date does not have to be equal to the storage date. If the item has a particular shelf life, the inventory date is the product expiry date defined for the item. Lot A number of items produced and stored together that are
identified by a (lot) code. Lots identify goods. In the Item - General (tcibd0101s000) session, you can specify whether LN must control and track lots for an item. If the item is lot controlled, the item is registered by lot so that the inventory on hand can be registered for each lot individually. If the item is lot tracked, all movements of the lot are also registered. Inventory Inventory on Hand The physical quantity of goods in one or more warehouses
(including the inventory on hold). Blocked The quantity of items that is blocked for the stockpoint. The blocked inventory is the sum of the Process Blocked and the Manually Blocked of all related inventory lines as you can view in the Item - Inventory Structure (whinr1550m000) session. Allocated Inventory for the current stockpoint that is allocated to outbound order lines for
which outbound advice is created that is not yet shipped. See also location allocation. Inventory on Order The inventory on order. Inventory Unit The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is
recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter. The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock. Blocking Blocking Remark The remark's code. You can link this code to a location in
the Warehouse - Location (whwmd3100s000) session. Creation Date Indicates when data identifying quantities was registered
at the location for the first time. This data can be:
Different combinations of identifying data are possible. Last Trans. Date The date on which the last inventory transaction took
place. Blocked Fully Blocked If this check box is selected, the entire stockpoint is blocked. If this check box is cleared, the stockpoint is not blocked or partially blocked. Blocked for Outbound If this check box is selected, the stockpoint is blocked for outbound. Automatic or
manual retrieval is not possible until the blocking is released. Note The inventory concerned can still be blocked for outbound movement on other levels (not displayed here), for example, by blocking a location or lot. Transfer (Issue) If this check box is selected, the stockpoint is blocked for transfer out of the
warehouse. Note The inventory concerned can still be blocked for transfer at other levels that are not displayed here (for example, by blocking the location or lot). Blocked for Cycle Counting If this check box is selected, the stockpoint is blocked for cycle counting. Note When LN prints cycle-counting lists, the inventory lines printed on the counting list are automatically blocked, to prevent changes to quantities during cycle counting. When counting lists are processed, the inventory lines are automatically unblocked. Blocked for Assembly If this check box is selected, the stockpoint is blocked for a warehouse assembly order.
