	Menu Fields (ttadv3561m000) This session lists menu fields. You can use a menu field to select lower-level menus or sessions. Note If you have started this session by zooming, you can only find and select a record. Package The code of the package for which the menu is defined. Package The description of the package. VRC The version code of the package for which the menu is defined. VRC The release of the package for which the menu is defined. Menu Field Type The type of field in the menu indicates the type of action that is activated. Ses/Men/Pr/Quer The code of the menu, query, session or UNIX program depends on the specified type of menu field, which is activated when you select this menu option. Sequence Number of Parallel Menus Tools no longer uses parallel menus. Descr. Linked If this check box is selected, the description of the specified session, query, or menu, depending on the type of menu, is placed in the Menu field. Label Code The code of the label that contains the description you entered in the Label field. This field is read-only. The field is filled automatically if you save a menu field, for which you typed in a description in the Label field. Label The description of the menu field. If the Descr. Linked check box is selected, this field is read-only and the description of the specified session, query, or menu is filled in automatically. If the Descr. Linked check box is cleared, you must type in a description. When you save a menu field, a label with the new description is generated. The code of this new label is displayed in the Label Code field. Process Info This field contains information that will be passed on to the program that is activated by the menu. If the program is a session, this information can be retrieved in the session with the procesinfo variable. If the program is a shell program, the information is used as the argument of the program. Active If this check box is selected, the menu option is active. Tools does not show an inactive menu option in the menu in run time. You can change this field in the Strip Menus (ttadv3275m000) session. Initial Hidden If this check box is selected, the menu item is not displayed in the menu at runtime. However, in LN UI users can make the menu item visible through the Personalize Menu command. Administrators can centrally maintain these personalizations through the Menu Personalizations (ttadv9505m000) session. Note This setting has only effect for users that use LN UI. Filter Library The library/dal to determine whether the menu item, session, or complete menu tree, must be hidden based on the parameter settings of the company of the user. Zooming starts a session that only shows libraries/dals. Note This setting has only effect for users that use LN UI. Filter Function The name of the function in the Filter Library that must be called, without the () at the end of the function. This function has no parameters and must return true or false. If the function returns false when called without parameters, the menu field is not displayed in LN UI. In this way you can filter sessions that depend on parameter settings.
