Menus (ttadv3160s000)

Use this session to define and maintain menus.

Note

To modify an existing menu, you must first start the Menus (ttadv3560m000) session and double-click a record.

 

Language
The language code of the menu. When a user runs an application, the menus are displayed in the user's own language, as defined in the user data.
Package
The code of the package for which the menu is defined.
Package
The description of the package.
VRC
The version code of the package for which the menu is defined.
VRC
The release of the package for which the menu is defined.
VRC
The customer extension of the package for which the menu is defined.
Note

This is only relevant for customized software.

Module
The code of the module to which the menu belongs.
Module
The description of the module.
Menu
The menu identification code.

A menu is uniquely identified by the following combination:

  • The package code
  • The module code
  • The identification code of the menu
  • The sequence number of parallel menus
  • The language code
Sequence Number
The menu's sequence number.
Note

This value is always 1, because Tools no longer uses parallel menus.

Link to Language
This field is not used anymore, since Label Translation Support (LTS) has been introduced.
User
The menu's designer.
Date
The date on which the menu was last modified.
Expired
If this check box is selected, the menu is expired for this package VRC and for the package VRCs derived from this one.
Tech.Documentation
If this check box is selected, documentation is available for the menu.
Release Notes
If this check box is selected, release notes are available for the menu.
