	Service Planning and Concepts Parameters (tsspc0100m000) This session contains: A history list of parameter sets and their effective dates. The most recent parameter sets are at the end of the list. The current parameter set, at the top of the list (without an effective date). To view historical sets, double-click one of the historical parameter sets. You can use the Print Service Parameters (tsmdm0400m000) session to print and compare the parameter sets. To view or change the current parameters, double-click the set without an effective date that appears at the top of the list. The Service Planning and Concepts Parameters (tsspc0100m000) details session starts. If you make changes and save the new parameter setting, LN performs the following actions: Adds the new set at the end of the history list. Updates the current set (at the top of the list). Note By default, the Description field contains the date and time when the previous parameter setting was saved. To avoid confusion, if you change the parameters, change or delete the default Description text. The parameters are valid up to the effective date of the most recent parameter setting. Description The description of the parameter set. For example, the reason why the previous setting was changed. Unit for Year The Unit for Year can be used for the upperscale in the graphical planning tool. This unit is also used for manual input of a prediction's relative moments. Note The unit must be of physical quantity time and must have a conversion factor. Unit for Day The Unit for Day can be used for the lowest scale in the graphical planning tool. This unit is also used for manual input of a prediction's relative moments. Note The unit must be a physical quantity of type time and must have a conversion factor. All relative moments of the prediction are converted to this unit, before stored in the database. Unit The description or name of the code. Unit for Tolerance Period The unit must be a physical quantity of type time. Number Group for Planned Activities The default number group for planned activities. Description The description or name of the code. Series for Planned Activities The default series defined for the planned activities. Description The description or name of the code. Step Size for Activity The number that defines the sequence for the successive steps that must be performed for activity. Note For example, if you enter the value 10, the numbers assigned to successive activities are 10, 20, 30, and so on. Use Master Routing If this check box is selected, master routing data can be used to generate activities for service planning and concepts. Allowed values Time Period Respect Earliest Start Time If this check box is selected, LN considers the earliest start time to plan the service order activity. Note For a service order activity, the planned start time must not be planned after the earliest start time. Respect Latest Finish Time If this check box is selected, LN considers the latest finish time to plan the service order activity. The Planned Finish Time cannot be planned after the Latest Finish Time. Note LN re-plans the route for the activity. Step Size Group Planning Activity Set Sequence The step size of the sequence in activity sets for service order activities. Group Planning Activity Sequence The step size of the sequence in activities for service order activities. Resource Allocation Based on Attribute Values If this check box is selected, LN allocates resources based on attribute values for service orders. Based on Skills If this check box is selected, LN allocates resources based on skills for service orders. Automatically when only one found If this check box is selected, LN selects the Allocate Resource to Planning Group check box when only one resource is proposed. Automatically highest priority If this check box is selected, LN selects the Allocate Resource to Planning Group check box for the resource with the highest priority. Check Availability If this check box is selected, LN checks the availability of the resources for service orders. Minimum Availability Percentage The minimum availability percentage of the resource to be allocated for the group planning. Plan Activities in Resource Calendar If this check box is selected,: activity status changes to Not Planned after allocation of resources (planning is required before releasing groups) calendar of activities is updated with the calendar of the allocated resource (processing time required) If this check box is cleared,: activity status remains Planned after resource allocation calendar of activities remains the original customer/installation calendar performance is improved during allocation resources because updating of activities is not allowed Note During resource allocation, LN defaults this value in the Used for Planning check box in the Group - Resources (tsspc3102m000) session.
