Release Service Orders (tssoc2200m000)Use this session to release a group or a batch of service orders with Free or Planned statuses only when the Ready for Release option is selected in the Service Order header. The default option of this checkbox is Yes. An activity must have either one or more engineers assigned to it or a header engineer for the service order to be released. Note The range fields are displayed in the session only when you do not select any record(s) in the Service Orders (tssoc2100m000) session.

be released. Service Contract The From and To fields define a range of: service contracts for which

orders must be released. Planned Start Time The range of the date and time on which the execution of
service order is planned to begin. Planned Finish Time The range of date and time on which the execution of service
order is planned to finish. Earliest Start Time The range of the earliest start date and time for the execution
of the service orders. Latest Finish Time The range of the latest finish date and time for the execution
of the service orders. Check Capacity Availability If this check box is selected, the order duration is
checked. The order duration must be less than or equal to the available hours
between the Planned Start time and Planned Finished time. If this check box is cleared, the order duration is not
checked. Check Skill status If this check box is selected, the skill set of the
assigned engineer for each service order selected is checked against the skills
required to perform the activity. The sequence and priority of the skills are
mentioned in General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session. This
check however, is not hard commited. If this check box is cleared, the skill set is not
checked and the service orders are released. Check Project Status If this check box is selected, the project status of the
service order is checked. The project status must be Active for the service
order to be released. This option is only applicable if the service order is
linked to ERP Projects. You can manually link a project to a service order or a
service order quotation. If this check box is cleared, the Project Status is not
checked and the service orders are released. Check Inventory Availability If this check box is selected, the availability of
inventory for the material requirement line is checked. If the inventory is
insufficient, an error message appears and user can choose to continue with the
releasing of the service order. This check however, is not hard
commited. If this check box is cleared, the availability of
material requirement lines are not checked and the service order is
released. Check Service Kit Allocation If this check box is selected, the service kit allocated
for a material requirement line is checked. If the service kit cannot be
allocated for the execution of the service order, then the Release action is
terminated. To proceed with the releasing of service orders, irrespective
whether the material requirement lines are met, you can delete the unprocessed
estimated lines. If this check box is cleared, the availability of service
kits are not checked and the service order is released. Process Report Error Report Information Report If this check box is selected, LN displays the error or information message, which are defined in
the Infor LN Warehousing. When you release a service order, warehouse orders get generated in the Infor LN Warehousing. Warehouse orders can be automatically processed. When warehouse orders are processed, LN throws errors or displays messages related to processed warehouse orders. These messages are displayed in the information report.
