Use this session to maintain the subcontracting costs manually entered for a project.

 

Project
The project code.
Description
The description or name of the code.
Status
The project status.
Element
The smallest part of an element structure. An element is used to define the (structure of the) work of the project, so that you can carry it out.
Status
The work authorization status of the element.
Activity
The smallest part of the activity structure used for a time-scaled budget. An entity that is used to represent a part of a project in an activity structure.

LN distinguishes these activity types:

  • WBS Element
  • Control Account
  • Work Package
  • Planning Package
  • Milestone
Status
The work authorization status of the activity.
Subcontracting
The subcontracting code.
Description
The description or name of the code.
Seq.
The sequence number code.
Extension
The specific agreements within or in addition to the initial contract. An extension falls outside the initial contract with the sold-to business partner. Extensions can be assigned to the bottom-up budget.

LN distinguishes four extension types:

  • Scope Change
  • Provisional Amount
  • Fluctuation Settlement
  • Quantities to be Settled
Status
The extension status.
Cost Component
A cost component is a collection of cost objects with a certain characteristic. A cost component does not depend on the cost type, therefore, for example, a project can be monitored from another dimension. For example, all the costs that refer to electrical work, for example, cable and installation work, are visible if the applicable cost objects are linked to the cost component Electrical work.
Quantity
The cost object's quantity.
Quantity

Note

The contract line (CLIN) currency is the default currency used for the cost plus invoice lines. The sales price on the billable cost lines is calculated based on the CLIN currency using the sales rate defined for the contract lines.

If you change the generated sales amount, the value of the Sales Price field is automatically adjusted, as follows:

sales rate = sales amount / no. of hours
Billable
If this check box is selected, the transaction is allowed to be invoiced to the customer.
Note

By default, this check box is selected if the Invoice Type field in the Project (tppdm6100m000) session is set to Cost Plus and the Invoice Calculation Method field in the Extension (tpptc0110s000) session is set to Actual Costs.

The home currency. Click Rotate Currency to see the amount in the other home currencies.

Enterprise Unit
The enterprise unit that is responsible for the delivery that is specified on the transaction line. The enterprise unit can differ from the enterprise unit to which the project is linked because of the possibility of intercompany transactions.

The fiscal year in which the transaction is posted to Financials.

This default value for this field is the current fiscal year.

If the Financials (TF) check box in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session is selected, the status of the fiscal period must be Open.

Document
The value of this field is part of the financial document number that is used for the purchase order invoice that matches in the Accounts Payable module in Financials.
Posting Type
The entry type shows both the origin of the transaction and the accounts on which the transaction posted to Financials is based.
Transaction Time
The transaction's date of input.
Login
The logon code of the user who entered the transaction.
Buy-from Bus. Par.
The buy-from business partner code.
Buy-from Bus. Par.
The business partner's name.
Invoice-from Bus. P.
The business partner that sends invoices to your organization. This usually represents a supplier's accounts receivable department. The definition includes the default currency and exchange rate, invoicing method and frequency, information about your organization's credit limit, the terms and method of payment, and the related pay-to business partner.
Settlement Origin
If this check box is selected, the transaction is posted as the outcome of a fluctuation settlement. This transaction cannot be included in cost control.
Delivering Company
The value of this field is part of the financial document number that is used for manually-entered invoices in Financials that are posted to Project.
Post to BAAN Finance
This field indicates whether the transaction must be posted to Financials. This field automatically gets the value of the Financials (TF) check box in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Transaction Type
If a financial transaction is posted from Financials to Project, LN fills this field. You cannot maintain the value of this field in Project.
Approved for Posting
If this check box is selected, the transaction can be processed in Financials and/or in the project history. If errors that block the posting process are found, the check box is cleared.
Document
If a financial transaction is posted from Financials to Project, LN fills the document number. The document number cannot be maintained in Project.
Text
The code that identifies the cost object.
Line Number
If a financial transaction is posted from Financials to Project, LN fills the line number. The line number cannot be maintained in Project.
Sequence Number
If a financial transaction is posted from Financials to Project, LN fills the sequence number. The sequence number cannot be maintained in Project.
Target Line Number
The value of this field is part of the financial document number that is used for the purchase order invoice that matches in the Accounts Payable module in Financials.
