Revenue vs. Cost

    Represents the Cost of Sales for the contract.
  • Blue
    Represents the Revenues recognized for the contract.
  • Green
    Represents the Profit for the contract.

This chart also displays the cumulative values for Recognised Revenues, Cost of Sales and the Profit for a contract during a specific period.

  • Cost of Sales:
    The sum of all the approved Interim Costs Result .
  • Revenue Recognized:
    The sum of all the approved Interim Revenues Result .
  • Profit:
    Revenue Recognized - Cost of Sales

If the Revenue Recognized for a contract is greater than the Cost of Sales then the contract is profitable. If the Revenues Recognized for a contract is less than the Cost of Sales then the contract is in loss.
