To use costsDuring project execution, you want to record the actual costs. Cost recording can be performed in Project, or in the Financials and then transferred to Project. Specify the level at which you want to record project costs with the Project - Cost Control Levels (tppdm6102m000) session in the Project Definition module. The options are:
If you define an element with the Element (tpptc1100s000) session or an activity with the Activities (tppss2100m000) session, use the Cost Control check box to indicate whether you want to record project costs for the element or activity or not.
