To use element-based budget lines

If you create elements for your project, and link them in a multi-level hierarchical structure, you can create the element budget. Enter budget line s for each element by using cost objects to the elements.

To enter a cost object for a selected project and element, select one of the following sessions, depending on the relevant cost type:

  • Element Budget (Material) (tpptc1110s000)
  • Element Budget (Labor) (tpptc1111s000)
  • Element Budget (Equipment) (tpptc1112s000)
  • Element Budget (Subcontracting) (tpptc1113s000)
  • Element Budget (Sundry Costs) (tpptc1114s000)

You can display details from the element-based budget using any of the following sessions:

  • Element Budget (Material Lines) (tpptc1510m000)
  • Element Budget (Labor Lines) (tpptc1511m000)
  • Element Budget (Equipment Lines) (tpptc1512m000)
  • Element Budget (Subcontracting Lines) (tpptc1513m000)
  • Element Budget (Sundry Cost Lines) (tpptc1514m000)

To output information from your budget, run Print Element Budget Structure (tpptc1409m000) or Print Element Budget (tpptc1410m000).

Project maintains a history log of all element budget transactions, which you can access using any of the following sessions:

  • Element Budget History (Material Lines) (tpptc1525m000)
  • Element Budget History (Labor Lines) (tpptc1526m000)
  • Element Budget History (Equipment Lines) (tpptc1527m000)
  • Element Budget History (Subcontracting Lines) (tpptc1528m000)
