To use a plan
The PSS Parameters (tppss0100s000) session enables you to set parameters that relate to
the Requirements Planning module. The planning parameters cover the default project plan and details that relate
to the external scheduling package including currency, time unit, and details
of code lengths.
Setup a plan Requirements Planning includes a number of
sessions that you can use to set up and maintain project plans:
- Use the Plans (tppss0110m000) session to set up new plans or to change existing
plans.
- Use the Copy Plans (tppss0211m000) session to copy details from existing plans.
- Use the Delete Plans (tppss0210m000) session to delete a plan or a range of plans.
- Use the Print Plans (tppss0410m000) session to print plans in either summary or detailed
format.
The information stored
in each plan includes details of the top activity the plan uses,
the name of the planner who initiated the plan, and the planned start and
finish dates.
The active plan is:
- The plan from which the
baselines are created.
- The plan for which
progress can be entered.
- The plan with which
requirements are ordered.
- Chosen in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session. There can be only one active plan in a
project.
- The plan for which a
budget can be frozen (control budget).
