Copy Routing (tirou2201m000)Use this session to copy one or more operations from one routing (source) to another (target). To copy the data of an item routing, select the routing (code) and the item. If the source routing concerns a standard routing, only select a routing (code). You can:
Note When you copy to or from customized items, the routing code is defaulted to the default routing code as stored in the routing parameters.
Manufactured Item Select the manufactured item. Routing Select the routing that you want to
copy. Operation The operation you want to copy to the target

item. Effective Date The date when the validity period of an entity starts. In the case of effectivity control the reference date is checked against the effective date. If the reference date is greater than or equal to the effective date the configuration entity is valid. Effective Date . Expiry Date . Expiry Date . Manufactured Item Select the target manufactured item. Routing Select the target routing. Routing The sequence of operations required to manufacture an item. For each operation, the task, machine, and work center are specified, as well as information about setup time and cycle time. Tooling If this check box is selected, tooling data is copied. Exceptions If this check box is selected, all exceptions are copied to the target routing. Process Variables If this check box is selected, process variables are copied. Activities If this check box is selected, the activities assigned to the routing are
copied to the target routing. This option is only available if both the source
and the target are customized items. Instructions If this check box is selected, instructions are copied. Operation Steps If this check box is selected, operation steps are copied to the target routing.
