Product Feature (tipcf0150m000)You can use this session to maintain features and any corresponding options that are product independent. In the Product Features by Configurable Item (tipcf1101m000) session you can link the product features to a generic item. General data about the product feature, such as descriptions, options, and texts, is then automatically copied to the product feature of the generic item. To print an overview of all constraints that in which a particular feature or option is used, on the menu and then click Print Where-Used Product Feature and Option.
Product Feature Use this field to enter the alphanumeric code of the product feature. A product
feature must have a self-explanatory code, because product features are used as
variables in constraint expressions. Product Feature Enter the general description of the product feature. Search Key Enter the search key for the product
feature. Option Domain You can choose between the following option domains: Alphanumeric: Each character, except for #, can be used for the option values. Integers: Only whole numbers (integers) can be used for the option values. Fractions: Integers (whole numbers) and fractions (for instance 1,4) can be used for the option values. Note Once you have chosen an option domain, you cannot change the domain later. Select Option If this check box is selected, the options belonging to this
product feature must be defined in, and selected from the Options by Product Feature (tipcf0160m000) session. If this check box is cleared, you can choose all possible values for this product feature, provided they comply with the option domain as defined in the Option Domain field. This applies to product features such as length, width, and so on. Text If this check box is selected, text is present with
additional data about the product feature. Click the Text button to display the
text.
Feature Descriptions Starts the Product Feature Descriptions (tipcf0151m000) session. Options by Product Feature The Options by Product Feature (tipcf0160m000) session
starts.
