| Changing order statusThe order status can be
influenced by certain sessions. If the ususal procedure is followed, the order
status ranges from Planned to Closed. The
main sessions you use to change the status of a production order in the usual
procedure are: - Print Production Order Documents (tisfc0408m000).
- Release Production Orders (tisfc0204m000).
- Report Orders Completed (tisfc0520m000).
- Close Production Orders (ticst0201m000). This procedure is described in detail in the Production order status topic.
The following sessions
allow you to make other changes to the order status: - Reprocess Production Orders (tisfc1203m000) You can use the Reprocess Production Orders (tisfc1203m000) session if the order status is Planned or Documents Printed. This session changes the order status to Planned.
It also undoes all manual changes that were applied to the production order.
Changes in the bill of material (BOM) or in the routing are incorporated in the
reprocessed production order.
- Reset Production Order Status (ticst0203m000) The Reset Production Order Status (ticst0203m000) session resets the production order
status from Closed to Completed. After this,
materials and hours can be booked again for the production order.
Note If you have removed a
production order's financial transactions, you can no longer reset the
order. - Cancel Range of Production Orders (tisfc0202m000) You can use the Cancel Range of Production Orders (tisfc0202m000) session if the order status is Released or Active,
provided no work has been performed on the production order. This session
changes the order status to Completed. As soon as any issued materials have been
returned to inventory, the production order is deleted.
Note If you want to cancel
a production order which has not yet been released, you can simply delete the
order. If work on a production order has already started, the production order
cannot be canceled or deleted. - Archive Production Orders (ticst0250m000) You can use the Archive Production Orders (ticst0250m000) session if the order status is Closed.
This session changes the order status to Archived and moves the production order to an archive company, which is no longer
visible in the operational environment.
