Use this session to list or maintain cost-related data for items.

Item
The item to which the costing data is applied.
Surcharges by Item
If this check box is selected, surcharges can be defined by item.

Material
The aggregated cost component to which the item's total material costs are linked.
Operation
The aggregated cost component to which the total operation costs for the item are linked.
Surcharge
The aggregated cost component to which the total surcharges are linked.
Currency
The currency that is used to express the cost price. The usage of this field depends on the currency system that is set in the Companies (tcemm1170m000) session.
  • Dependent or Standard
    If your company's currency system is Dependent or Standard, you can enter any currency in this field to express the cost price.
  • Independent
    If your company's currency system is Independent, you cannot change this field. However, you can select the local currency or one of the reporting currencies by clicking View Other Currencies. The default currency in this field is the reference currency that you defined in the Companies (tcemm1170m000) session.
  • Single
    If your company's currency system is Single, you cannot change this field. The cost price currency is the local currency, which is displayed in this field.
Include Landed Costs
If this check box is selected, landed costs are included in the calculations.
Landed Costs Set
Select the landed costs set to be added to the item.
Cost Price
The item's standard cost price that consists of material costs, operation costs, and cost price surcharges.
Material Costs
The estimated material costs that consist of the total material costs and the total cost price surcharges that are required to purchase or produce the item.
Operation Costs
The estimated operation costs that consist of the total operation costs and the total cost price surcharges to purchase or produce the item.
Last Calculation Date
The last date the estimated cost-price of the item has been changed.
Cost Component Chart
The code to which detailed cost components are linked. You must enter a chart if you want to report detailed cost components for an item in the effective cost-component structure.

You must define charts in the Cost Component Charts (ticpr0109m000) session. You must link detailed cost components to the chart in the Chart Details (ticpr0110m000) session.

Cost Price
The total actual costs for the customized item.

These costs include the:

  • Material costs
  • Operation costs
  • Cost price surcharges
Note

The actual cost price is only calculated for customized items.

Material Costs
The real material costs for the customized item. These costs are, for example, purchase costs and warehouse costs (inventory transfers). The total material costs can also include cost price surcharges.
Operation Costs
The real operation costs for making the customized item, for example, direct and indirect production hours, costs of subcontracting operations, and actual cost-price surcharges.
Last Calculation Date
The last date the actual cost-price of the item has been changed.

Effective Cost Component Structure
