Generic Item - Assembly Line (tiapl2500m000)Use this session to define any one of the following items, for a specific assembly line:
LN requires this information to determine the master company of the item. Several processes can only run in the master company. For example, if you enter a sales order, LN creates a product variant in the master company. In the Generic Item - Assembly Line (tiapl2100s000) details session, you can also specify a basic sales price and standard cost.
Item The code of the generic item or manufactured item for which the Default Supply Source is Assembly. Note You cannot delete an item if a product variant exists in which this item occurs. assembled. Note
Master Company The company that contains the master data, such as product
variants, BOMs, and so on. The master company can be one of the companies of the assembly lines, or a separate company. If your current company is defined as master company in the Assembly Planning Parameters (tiapl0100s000) session, the company number is automatically inserted when you create a new record, and cannot be changed. If your current company is not a master company, you must specify the master company of the generic item in question yourself. Warehouse The warehouse where the end item is stored.
Generic Bill of Material (APL) Starts the Generic Bill of Material (tiapl2510m000) session. Generic Bill of Material (PCF) Starts the Generic BOMs (tipcf3110m000) session.
