Evaluate Parameter Setting Rules (Reference Model) (tgbrg5200m000)

Use this session to import parameters and to set their values based on the parameter-setting rules that were defined in the Rules (tgbrg7500m000) session.

The value of the parameter is set, if the following condition is met:

  • The parameter is used in a parameter-setting rule.

  • business-control model
  • business-function model
  • business-process model

The description or name of the reference model.

Test Run
If this check box is selected, a report with the hypothetical outcome of the current session run is printed. The parameters are not actually imported and set.
Purge Existing Model
If this check box is selected, the parameters that are already present in the reference model, but do not meet the conditions of the parameter-setting rules, are removed from the reference model.

If this check box is cleared, the parameters that are already present in the reference model, but do not meet the conditions of the parameter-setting rules remain in the reference model.

Overwrite
If this check box is selected, the parameters that are already present in the reference model and meet the conditions of the parameter setting rules, get the value that is derived from the parameter-setting rule. So, if the current value of that parameter is different from the value that is derived from the setting rule, the latter value is applied.
Print
If this check box is selected, the outcome of the current session run is printed.
