Specifications by Statement Account (tffst1521m000)Use this session to list and link the ranges of ledger accounts and dimensions to the selected statement account. The ranges of ledger accounts and dimensions are given for a range of companies. LN checks the given ledger accounts to see whether a link exists to the dimension structures. If no link is defined between the ledger accounts within the given range, LN displays an error message if you try to enter dimensions. If the Cash Flow Statement Account check box is selected, you can use this session to list and link ranges of cash flow reasons to the selected statement account. You can link multiple ranges of ledger accounts and dimensions to a statement account. To prevent a double count, you can only link ledger accounts and dimensions with sublevel zero to statement accounts. In addition, ledger accounts and dimensions can only be linked to statement accounts with sublevel zero. In addition to entering specific ranges of ledger accounts (and dimensions) or cash flow reasons, you can make a smaller selection by using masks. To reorganize the sequences of the statement accounts, by selecting a record, you can choose one of three options:
Financial Statement The code of the financial statement. Statement Account The code of the statement account. Accounting Scheme A scheme of accounts to which the results of certain events are
posted. The accounting scheme consists of ledger accounts, structured in a
parent-child hierarchy. Cash Flow Statement Account If this check box is selected, this account can be used
for cash flow statements. Seq No You can use the sequence number to link several ranges of
ledger accounts or cash flow reasons to a statement account. A sequence number identifies every range. To reorganize the sequences of the statement accounts, by selecting a record, you can choose one of three options:
Ranges Financial Company In an LN multisite environment, you can link ledger accounts (and
dimensions) or cash flow reasons from various financial companies to one
statement account. If you are not working in an LN multisite environment, you can also enter a range of companies. However, LN will only select data from the current financial company. Financial Company Mask After you enter specific ranges of financial companies, you
can make a smaller selection of the financial companies by using masks. Using masks Use masks to determine which numbers must be selected. The masks are created by using the following characters:
Example The following company numbers are defined:
To select company numbers 031 and 281, you must write: ^ [3-8]1$ To select company numbers 135 and 315, you must write: ^ [13]*5$ Ledger Account / CFR To link a sequential range of ledger accounts or cash flow
reasons, you can use this field. To link ledger accounts that are not in the
sequential range, you must create a new sequence number to link the ledger
accounts or cash flow reasons to the statement account. Mask After you enter specific ranges of ledger accounts or cash
flow reasons, you can make a smaller selection by using masks. Using masks Use masks to determine which codes must be selected. The masks are created by using the following characters:
Example The following ledger accounts are defined:
To select ledger accounts 899031 and 899281, you must write: ^...[3-8]1$ To select ledger accounts 899135 and 899315, you must write: ^...[13]*5$ Dimension To link a sequential range of dimensions, you can use this
field. To link dimensions that are not in the sequential range, you must create
a new sequence number to link the dimensions to the statement
account. Note Even if you only want to enter a range of ledger accounts, always enter the total dimensions range too. Otherwise, LN tries to check values at the dimension level but will not find any values. As a result, no values are found for the statement account. Dimension Mask After you enter specific ranges of dimensions, you can make a
smaller selection of the dimensions by using masks. Using masks Use masks to determine which codes must be selected. The masks are created by using the following characters:
Example The following dimensions are defined:
To select dimensions 899031 and 899281, you must write: ^...[3-8]1$ To select dimensions 899135 and 899315, you must write: ^...[13]*5$
