Remove Capitalization (tffam1201m000)

Use this session to remove capitalization from an asset that should not have been placed into service.

When you remove capitalization from an asset, its status changes from Acquired to Entered. LN cannot depreciate assets with a status of Entered, and you cannot record transactions against them.

You can remove capitalization as long as the asset has not yet depreciated in any of the asset book combinations. This transaction will be posted to the General Ledger module and the capitalization journal entry will be reversed.
