Bank Transactions (tfcmg2500m000)Use this session to maintain bank transactions. You can also create transactions for payments without an invoice. To start this session, you must select transaction type Cash in the Transactions (tfgld1101m000) session, or select an appropriate Bank Transactions transaction type in the Transaction Entry (tfgld1140m000) session. The current session allows you to process these types of bank transactions:
You cannot link a payment to a purchase invoice to which a hold reason is linked. An assigned approver must remove the hold reason first. Note Only authorized users can make payments. In the Payment Authorizations (tfcmg1100m000) session, you can define the user's authorizations and maximum amounts for the various transactions.
Document The transaction type selected in
the Transactions (tfgld1101m000) session. This
transaction type must be a Cash transaction type. Document The unique identification of the document used for the
transaction type's financial transactions. Balance The sum required to make one side of an account equal to the
other side. In other words, the difference between the total of all the debit
entries and the total of all the credit entries in an account. Whether it is a
debit or a credit, this amount expresses the financial position of the
particular account at the time the balance is struck. Beginning Balance The sum of the opening balance and the transactions entered
until the specified time, with a specified batch and transaction type. If you linked a currency to the transaction type, LN can calculate this amount. Currency The currency used for the bank transactions. Bank Account A bank account of your company. Closing Balance The open payable amount for the invoice-to business
partner. Bank Relation A bank account of your company. The bank relation definition
includes details such as your bank account number, account type, the international bank account number, the bank's currency
and whether other currencies are allowed, and whether the account is a blocked account. Amount to be Reconciled The amount that remains to be matched. The name of the bank currency. Late Payment Surcharge The late payment surcharge amount in the home currency. Discount The discount amount in the home currency. Payment Difference The payment difference amount in the home currency. Factoring Commission The factoring commission amount, expressed in the home currency. The default factoring commission depends on the values entered for the Commission on Partial Payments in the CMG Parameters (tfcmg0100s000) session. You can change the amount. Discount Date The date of the discount. If the invoice is paid before this
date, discount is deducted from the invoice amount. Late Payment Surcharge Date The date of the late-payment surcharge. Document Date The date on which you carried out the transaction at the bank. Default value The current date appears, by default. Based on this date, LN calculates the default amount received/paid, from the Receipt Transaction or Payment Transaction specified in the Type of Transaction field. Details Line The line number. The combination of line number and document number identifies the transaction. Type of Transaction Select the transaction category for the data you maintain in
this session. Comments for the transaction. Advance Payment Category If you selected the Allow Advance Payment Category check box in the CMG Parameters (tfcmg0100s000) session and the posting method is Advance payment, you must select a category. Invoice-from/to Business Partner Bank Reference If you use bank reference numbers, this is the bank reference number of the invoice. Invoice Number The transaction type of the invoice settled, fully or
partially, by the bank transaction. You can access this field if the value in the Document field is:

Schedule The payment schedule line number. If you use receipts against shipments, this number indicates the shipment. Pay-to/by Business Partner BP Payment No. Enter the payment number used for payments to the business
partner. Currency/Rate The currency used for the bank transactions. The currency exchange rate. This rate is defined in the Currency Rates (tcmcs0108m000) session. The result of the selected rate. Amount in Bank Currency The payment amount, expressed in the currency defined in the Currency/Rate field. Amount in Invoice Currency The amount of the receipt/payment, expressed in the invoice currency. The currency in which the invoice amount is expressed. Tax Amount in Bank Currency The tax amount in the invoice currency. If a tax code is linked to the invoice, LN displays the tax amount calculated on the basis of the data defined for the specified tax code in the payment/receipt currency. Transfer Method The way in which the transactions are transferred to the
bank. If the supplier pays the bank costs, you cannot change this field. Sundry Costs The bank costs that do not belong to any other specified
category. If the supplier pays the bank costs, you cannot change this field. Reference Enter the reference text. Cash Flow Reason The cash flow reason of the transaction. Amount in Home Currency The payment amount in the home currency. Tax Country/Code The tax country and tax code that apply to the transaction. You can access this field:
LN only calculates the taxa mount if the transaction amount is not less than the amount specified in the Minimum Amount for Tax Calculation field in the CMG Parameters (tfcmg0100s000) session. Enter the country code for tax calculation. This country code must have been linked to the tax code in the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session. LN displays the country (for tax) linked to the discounts, late payment surcharges, and payment differences with respect to this partial payment in the Posting Data by Tax Code (tfcmg0150m000) session. Group Tax Code A tax code that represents multiple individual tax codes. If
more than one tax code applies to a transaction, you can link a group tax code
to the transaction. For example, a group tax code can contain tax codes for:
Deductions Discount Amount If the invoice is paid within an allowed discount period, LN deducts this amount from
the total invoice amount. You can access this field if the value in the Document field is

Factoring Commission Amount The factoring commission amount, expressed in the currency
defined in the Currency/Rate field. The default factoring commission depends on the values entered for the Commission on Partial Payments in the CMG Parameters (tfcmg0100s000) session. You can change the amount. Withholding Income Tax The withholding income tax amount. Withholding Social Contribution The withholding social contributions amount. Social Contribution Company Expense The social contributions (expense) amount. Details Debit/Credit Use this indicator to classify the amount as debit/credit.
You can access this field if the transaction type is Journal. Group Tax Code A tax code that represents multiple individual tax codes. If
more than one tax code applies to a transaction, you can link a group tax code

Remittance The code used to identify the remittance advice. Control Account A ledger account used to reflect the balance of a number of
related subsidiary accounts. In LN, 'control account' usually refers to the creditors' account or the debitors' account defined for the financial business partner groups in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. In addition to the creditors' account and the debitors' account, you can define a number of specific control accounts for a business partner group, such as control accounts for doubtful invoices, advance and anticipated payments or receipts, and realized and unrealized currency profit or loss. Invoice Date The date on which the invoice is printed. Due Date In LN,
the date that a payment or receipt is required. Fiscal Period A separate period, or year for financial purposes. Three financial period types exist:
