Default Allocation Relation (tfcat4103s000)Use this session to maintain default allocation relations. Default allocation relations are used as a template for recurring allocation relations regarding source and destination dimensions. LN distinguishes qualitative and quantitative default allocation relations. A quantitative relation describes only the relation between the source and the destination. In addition to this, a qualitative relation describes the amount, percentage, or quantity for which the relation is valuated. The following restrictions apply:
Allocation Rule Set A set that offers various possibilities to build the allocation
relation. You can build allocation relations by using allocation keys, default
allocation relations or consumption rules. Dim. Type The dimension type to be credited. Destination Dimension Type The dimension type to be debited. Dimension The dimension to be credited. Destination Dimension The dimension to be debited. Ref. Unit The reference unit of the credited dimension. Allowed values If no reference units are linked to the source dimension the source reference-unit can be skipped. Default value The first reference unit for the source dimension in the reference-unit master. Destination Reference Unit The reference unit of the debited dimension. Allowed values If no reference unit is defined for the destination dimension, the destination reference unit is skipped. Default value The first reference unit for the destination dimension in the reference-unit master. Ledg. A/C The credited ledger account of the source dimension. Allowed values
Default value The first secondary-credit ledger account in the ledger account structure of this dimension. Destination Ledger Account The debited ledger account of the destination dimension. Allowed values
Default value The first Secondary-Debit ledger account in the ledger account structure of this dimension. Sequence No. The allocation relation number. By means of this number, you
can create several allocation relations for one source/destination combination. Distribution The distribution by means of which the year
budget is distributed to the budget periods. Allocation Type The allocation type depends on the other chosen parameters of
the source reference-unit. You must use a uniform allocation type within
combinations of relation, year, budget, period and source reference unit. Allowed values
Legend quantity = Quantity Based amount = Amount Based ret = Retrograde pro = Progressive Quantity The quantity that is allocated to another dimension can be a
part of:
[ The quantity measurement-unit that is defined for the source
reference-unit (if present). Amount The fixed amount that is debited to the destination dimension. This field only applies if the Allocation Type field is set to Amount. Percentage The percentage of the budget or actual costs that must be
debited from the destination dimension. This field only applies if the Allocation Type field is set to Percentage. Period. Distr. Perc. For the Budget Period relation and the Actual relation, this is the relationship between the period and year percentage or
quantity: Period / Year x 100 For example: 20% / 80% x 100 = 25% Valuated Portion The portion of the budget or actual costs that is allocated to
the destination dimension. Cost Category The cost category by means of which the
allocated quantity or percentage can be further distributed. Note For the valuation of the allocated quantity or percentage, only the amounts of those ledger accounts that belong to the entered cost category are taken into account. Destin. Variability The variable part of the budgeted or actual costs that is
debited to the destination dimension. Default value The variability of the destination ledger-account, as defined in the budget defaults. Text If this check box is selected, relation text is available.
