Criteria Set - Scoring Schemes (tdpur1193m000)

Use this session to specify objective and subjective values and scores to criterions of the following types:

  • Quantity
  • Delivery Time
  • Subjective
Example
CriterionObjective value %Scoring valueValid for range
Quantity-10-10-10 to 100
Quantity01000
Quantity10500 to 10
Quantity202010 to 20
Quantity301020 to 30

The objective value in this example is the difference between the RFQ quantity and the response quantity expressed as a percentage of the RFQ quantity. As a result, if the RFQ quantity is 100 units and the response quantity is 85 units, the objective value would be 15 and the score for the Quantity criterion would be 20.

Note

You cannot assign scoring values to criteria of the following criteria types, because LN retrieves the scoring values of these criteria types from other sessions:

  • Price LN calculates the scoring value based on the price data in the Buy-from BP - Quotation (tdpur1506m000) session. Prices are always taken into account when comparing responses.
  • Rating LN retrieves the scoring value from the Vendor Ratings by Period (tdpur8102m000) session or the Vendor Ratings by Criterion (tdpur8102m100) session. Vendor rating is only taken into account in the comparison of responses when the concerned business partner is selected for vendor rating.

Criteria Set
A list of request for quotation (RFQ) criterions that can be linked to an RFQ header. An RFQ response is valuated according to these criteria.
Criterion Type
You can link several types of criteria to an RFQ criteria set.

Allowed values

  • Quantity
  • Delivery Time
  • Subjective
Note

You cannot select criteria for the following criteria types, because LN retrieves the scoring values of these criteria types from other sessions:

  • Price LN calculates the scoring value based on the price data in the Buy-from BP - Quotation (tdpur1506m000) session. Prices are always taken into account when comparing responses.
  • Rating LN retrieves the scoring value from the Vendor Ratings by Period (tdpur8102m000) session and the Vendor Ratings by Criterion (tdpur8102m100) session. Vendor rating is only taken into account in the comparison of responses when the concerned business partner is selected for vendor rating.
Subjective Criterion
A subjective criterion used to determine which RFQ response is accepted. You can link RFQ criterions to RFQ criterion sets.
Note

You can only enter an RFQ criterion if the Criterion Type field has the value Subjective.

Objective Value
You can specify an objective value and assign a scoring value to it. The scoring value is taken into account when calculating the total scoring value.

Allowed values

You can specify an objective value only if the criterion type is Quantity or Delivery Time.

Note

An objective value for the Quantity criterion type expresses the difference between the RFQ quantity and the response quantity.

An objective value for the Delivery Time criterion type expresses the difference between the RFQ delivery date and the response delivery date.

Subjective Value
You can specify a subjective value and assign a scoring value to it. The scoring value is taken into account when calculating the total scoring value per criterion.

Allowed values

You can only specify a subjective value if the criterion type is Subjective.

Note

A subjective value is expressed in a term, for example average.

Score
You can assign a scoring value to the various criteria values. The scoring values are taken into account during the calculation of the total scoring value per criterion.
