A short description of the mailing.
Mailing (tccom6600m400)Use this session to view and maintain mailings that are generated in the Mail Merge by Standard Letter (tdsmi2410m000) session. Note To generate mailings in this session, the Log Mailing as Activity check box must be selected in the Mail Merge by Standard Letter (tdsmi2410m000) session. Mailing lines The lines on the tabs refer to the following sessions:
Subject A short description of the mailing. The text in the mailing. Contact The contact for whom the mailing is generated. Business Partner The business partner for whom the mailing is
generated. Phase The phase in the sales process for which the mailing is generated. Activity The activity for which the
mailing is generated. Activity Template The activity template based on which the mailing is generated. Note You can use the activity template for selection purposes later on and execute a follow-up. Letter The general memoranda mailed to relations and contacts (whether
within the framework of an opportunity or not) that can be printed and composed
by using variables. Created by The user who created the mailing. Creation Date The date on which the mailing is created. Last Modified by The user who last modified the mailing. Last Modification Date The last date on which the mailing is modified. Series The series used for the mailing. Default value The Series for Mailings from the COM Parameters (tccom0000s000) session. Mailing An activity type that specifies a standard letter printed for a
contact, business partner, opportunity, or activity with specific business
object information merged in. A mailing is always generated from an activity
template.
Follow Up Appointment Starts the Appointment (tccom6600m100) session in which you can enter a follow-up appointment for the
mailing. Follow Up Call Starts the Call (tccom6600m200) session in which you can enter a follow-up call for the mailing. Follow Up Task Starts the Task (tccom6600m300) session in which you can enter a follow-up task for the mailing. Follow Up Email Starts the Email (tccom6600m500) session in which you can enter a follow-up e-mail for the mailing.
