Contact The person with whom you discuss business transactions. For
example, you address questions, quotations, and follow-up calls, direct mail,
and promotional gifts to the contact. The contact's data include the name,
telephone number, e-mail address, and other details. Active If this check box is selected, the contact is active and can be
used. Important! If you change a contact from active to inactive, LN checks whether the contact is the primary contact for one of the business partner roles. If this is the case, before you can inactivate the contact you must first delete the contact as the primary contact for the business partner role, or assign another contact as the primary contact in the Business Partners by Contact (tccom4546m000) session. Synchronize If this check box is selected, the contact must be synchronized with
Microsoft Exchange. Note This check box is only visible if the Synchronize Contacts check box is selected in the COM Parameters (tccom0000s000) session. Salutation The salutation for the contact. Title The title used on the documents addressed to the contact. Full Name The contact's first, middle, and last name. Note If a full name is entered, name details, such as First Name and Last Name are automatically generated in the Contact Name Details (tccom4140s100) session. Click the Details button to start this session. Business Partner The contact's general business partner, which is the contact's
employer. Note
Job Title The contact's job title. Department The contact's department. Source The places, events, or methods where or through which business
partners come in contact with your company (for example, a trade fair or an
advertisement). Picture The contact's picture.
Work Address The contact's work address. Note
Address Line 1 The first part of the address, as defaulted from the Address Line 1 field in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. Address Line 2 The second part of the address, as defaulted from the Address Line 2 field in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. Address Line 3 The third part of the address, as defaulted from the Address Line 3 field in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. Address Line 4 The fourth part of the address, as defaulted from the Address Line 4 field in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. primary phone number. Mobile Phone The contact's mobile phone number. Note If a full mobile phone number is specified, based on the field values in the Phone Number Data group box of the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session, the full number is automatically split in the Mobile Phone Number Details (Contact) (tccom4140s400) session. Click the Details button to start this session. Primary Mobile Phone If this check box is selected, the mobile phone number is the contact's
primary phone number. Home Phone The contact's home phone number. Note If a full home phone number is specified, based on the field values in the Phone Number Data group box of the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session, the full number is automatically split in the Home Phone Number Details (Contact) (tccom4140s300) session. Click the Details button to start this session. Primary Home Phone If this check box is selected, the home phone number is the contact's
primary phone number. Opted Out If this check box is selected, the contact does not want to receive
promotional e-mail messages. E-Mail The contact's e-mail address. Private Address The contact's private
address. Note You can select an address from the Addresses (tccom4530m000) session or click the New button to enter a new address in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. Address Line 1 The first part of the address, as defaulted from the Address Line 1 field in the Addresses (tccom4130s000) session. Buyer Role A classification of a contact's role in the decision making
process related to an opportunity. With this classification, sales
representatives know, for example, how to approach a contact to win a
deal. A buyer role can be, for example, economic buyer, decision maker, influencer. Promotion Use this field to select a promotion for the contact. Extension for Office Phone The direct distance dialing number at the business address. Primary Extension for Office Phone If this check box is selected, the Extension for Office Phone is the contact's primary phone
number. Language The contact's preferred language. Messenger Type The type of messenger the contact uses. Electronic Messenger The contact's messenger ID for the selected messenger type. Website The contact's website. Fax The contact's fax number at the business address. Note If a full fax number is specified, based on the field values in the Phone Number Data group box of the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session, the full number is automatically split in the Fax Number Details (Contact) (tccom4140s500) session. Click the Details button to start this session. Gender The contact's gender. Birthday The contact's birthday. Attention The contact's attention code. Created by The user who first created and saved this contact data. Date Created The date on which this contact data is first created and
saved. Last Modified by The user who last modified and saved this contact data. Date Last Modification The date on which this contact data is last modified and
saved. Text Use this field to enter a text related to the
contact. Type Use this field to select the contact's status. Allowed values Social Media Social Media Type Select the type of social media that the contact uses. Social Media Link Specify the account or the tag(s) for the social media
type. Note You can click the ... button to display the applicable Web site. Example: http://nl.linkedin.com/in/johndoe The contact's Linkedin profile is displayed. Note If you specified a Twitter account or Twitter tag(s) in this field and you use Infor Ming.le for LN, you can also call the Twitter Tracker Context Application to display the contact's latest tweets.
