Number Group The number group to which the series applies. Number Group The description or name of the code. Number The internal order number associated with the message. Date Received Related topics Entering a date Order Reference The reference number assigned by EDI. Organization A code that represents a set of standards (such as ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT, and VDA) used in EDI communication. EDI Message The incoming and/or outgoing messages that are supported by the application. These messages can be active (actually used within the company) or not. Network A code that identifies a communication network used to manage data flow through an intermediary (such as communication through a Value Added Network (VAN) via an EDI-translator) or directly, without translation, to a sister company that uses the same software. Message Function The type of the message. Date sent The date on which the generated messages were sent by the business partner. Order Type in Message The standard external order type for a specific EDI message. Previous Reference The time of the previous reference. Date Previous Reference The date of the previous reference. Batch Number The batch number associated with the received EDI messages (for incoming messages that were either successfully processed and updated into the LN application, or stored in Saved Messages to be Received). Note A batch number is generated for each network when incoming EDI messages are processed.
