Saved Messages to be Received (ecedi7150m000)

Use this session to display and maintain the saved messages to be received.

If you choose to review the messages interactively, or if errors are encountered when message data is validated, an EDI message is not processed. The unprocessed message is referred to as saved messages to be received. If you select a record and choose Message Data on the appropriate menu, the saved message data details are displayed in the Saved Message Data to be Received (ecedi7151s000) session, in which you can correct the errors.

You can display summary information linked to the batch number and batch number record of the message.

Click Print on the toolbar to use the Print Saved Messages to be Received (ecedi7450m000) session to print saved message information.

Note

If you started this session by zooming, you can only find and select a record.

Batch Number
The batch number associated with the received EDI messages (for incoming messages that were either successfully processed and updated into the LN application, or stored in Saved Messages to be Received).
Note

A batch number is generated for each network when incoming EDI messages are processed.

A number that identifies a particular data record for a specific batch number.
EDI Message

The person responsible for the message, as defined in the EDI Messages Supported by Business Partner (ecedi0511m000) session.

Note

Number groups are defined with the Number Groups (tcmcs0151m000) session and are used to split orders into groups.

Organization
A code that represents a set of standards (such as ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT, and VDA) used in EDI communication.

Approval Flag

The level of the related ASCII file.
Note

For EDI messages that follow a multiple file format, each file has its own level. The first level (level 1) contains the main file. Lower levels always have higher numbers. For EDI messages that follow a single file format, a level refers to a type of record that is identified by a level identifier.

Destination
The destination of the field in the incoming message, as defined in the Conversion Setups (Relationships) (ecedi5112m000) session.
