System Table List

The system table list contains the list of set-up data tables in ODM. This list constitutes the set-up data for ODM. As a result, in addition to the package, the delivery media contains all the tables that contain data. Be sure to refer to the correct set of set-up data defined in this document with the ODM system table list after the LN superuser completes the import process of set-up data dumps.

Note

Be sure to check for the correct set of set-up data that pertains to the release that you use.

In the System Table List (dmsys2201m000) session, the user can maintain the list of tables that must be exported from the system. Incidentally, the System Tables (dmsys201) table itself is part of the system table list, because the same export list must be maintained in further installations of a particular release.

The details of the system table session are as follows:

Use the System Table List (dmsys2201m000) session to create a system table entry that is used to export system data. Usually, an authorized user must add the system table if any system table is missed while importing the set-up data dumps. You must crosscheck with the system tables list defined in this document and carefully add this system table in the session.

This session provides the following information:

  • Sequence Number: Displays an automatically generated sequence number of the system table.
  • Package: Displays a LN package, for example, dm.
  • Module: Displays the modules of the selected dm package, such as:

    • Document Management
    • Change Management
    • Common module
  • Table Number: Displays the table number of the module specified in the Module field.
Note

The package and module are part of the table name.

In the Expression field, the user can indicate if a choice-based export process is required. For example, if the user wants the System Action table data to be exported only if the action is designated as System Action. In this case, the user can provide a condition as an expression in the corresponding field in the system table session. To provide the expression in the corresponding field, the user must have knowledge of ODM tables and fields.

Note

The system tables specified in this list must be available in the System Table List (dmsys2201m000) session as entries. The order of the system tables must be the same as shown in the session.

If the tables are not in the list, an authorized user can add these sessions manually.

Note

Additional information about the authorized user who can add, modify system tables information is provided in Actions, in Chapter 4 "Setup data dumps in table format."

After the system tables list and all the relevant setup data is ready, an authorized user can export the ODM set-up data onto the target media.
