Infor LN

In Infor LN, you can create a project template in the Project Template (tppdm5101m000) session. A project template enables you to predefine a set of project types for a company. If you select a predefined template during the project definition, a large number of fields are filled according to the template definition.

Infor LN SP1

In Infor LN SP1, the template functionality has been built into the Project (tppdm6100m000) session. You can define a project as a template. Templates can be created manually or from existing projects in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session. When a project is created from a template, some or all the data can be copied to the target project. For more information, refer to Copy Projects (tppdm7840m000) session.

Note

The Copy Projects (tppdm7840m000) session opens as Create Project from Template session when you use the Create Project from Template option in the appropriate menu of the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session and opens as Save as Template session when you use the Save as Template option.
