Direct delivery in Freight

In Infor LN, Freight cannot handle transports in case of direct deliveries, that is, if goods must be transported from a supplier address directly to a customer address, without using a warehouse that is recorded in LN. The Freight processes are very much dependent on Warehousing processes. If the warehouse is bypassed, these Warehousing processes are not triggered.

Infor LN SP1, Freight can deal with goods transport in case of a direct delivery. Freight orders are generated based on the data from the sales order and the purchase order. For more information, refer to To generate freight orders for direct delivery sales orders.
