Lot and serial information on the sales order

In Infor LN, information about lots and serials is not communicated by the sales order if you confirm shipments, or receive direct delivery lines from shipments/ ASNs. For non-direct delivery sales orders, LN retrieves lot information from Warehousing, and prints it on the invoice. For direct delivery sales orders however, no lot information can be communicated by the invoice because shipment information does not exist for direct deliveries.
