| Warehousing Master DataThis topic describes the differences between the Warehousing Master Data module in Infor LN 10 and in Infor LN 10.2.1 that are not already discussed in other Differences topics. New and changed functionality Location control for items and warehouses Area and volume dimensions In Infor LN 10.2.1, the default units for area and volume have been modified. If
the unit has a length of one or two characters, the related area unit will be
filled by adding a 2 to the length unit. The volume unit is populated by adding
a 3 to the length unit. If unit has a length of three characters, the last
character of the length unit is replaced by a 2 or a 3. Example: Length unit = m has a related area
and volume unit m2 and m3 Example: Length unit = kmt has a related area
and volume unit km2 and km3 Cost peg transfers In Infor LN 10.2.1, the cost peg transfers functionality is introduced. Cost peg
transfer orders transfer cost between two pegs. Cost peg transfer can be
performed only within the warehouse. Because the cost peg transfer order is
used to transfer the costs only but not the physical movement of the inventory.
New sessions were added to view the cost peg transfer data. The following
fields were added to the User Profiles (whwmd1140s000) session: Assembly Kits In Infor LN 10.2.1, assembly kits functionality is enhanced. For a warehouse
transfer order, all the assembly parts are grouped under one assembly kit and
one assembly order is generated for all stations where the kit is used. The
kits are also defined by end item (line item). To support this enhancement, the
following sessions were added: Inventory - Cost peg distribution In Infor LN 10.2.1, cost peg functionality was introduced. Data elements were
added to items, inventory and transactions throughout the flow of goods. The
process of splitting up the item lines into multiple cost pegs is cost pegging.
The cost pegs distribute the cost but not the physical identification of the
items received. To support this functionality, following enhancements were
made: The Calculate Project Pegged Inventory Excess (whwmd2260m000) session was also
added. Label printing In Infor LN 10.2.1, label printing for the functionality was introduced for the
automobile industry. The label layout that describes how the labels must be

support this functionality, following sessions were modified: Automotive enhancements In Infor LN 10.2.1, one of the manufacturing procedures used by automobile
manufacturers is CINDI. The functionality has been enhanced to support the
CINDI process and other automotive enhancements. To support this functionality,
