• Additional cost calculation on shipment lines
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the additional costs can be calculated on shipment lines. The following fields were added in the Shipments (whinh4130m000):

  • Additional Costs
  • Method of Additional Cost Calculation

  The following fields were added in the Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000) session:

  • Additional Costs
  • Method of Additional Cost Calculation
  • Cost for Line

• Peg distribution for cycle counting and adjustment orders
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, when the project pegging functionality is implemented in warehousing. As a result, a peg distribution line is created in cycle counting and adjustment orders before the orders are processed. The Generate Peg Distribution option was added to generate the peg distribution data in the following sessions:

  • Cycle Counting Order Line Peg Distribution (whinh5107m000)
  • Adjustment Order Line Peg Distribution(whinh5127m000)

• Modify the warehouse order data
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can modify the warehouse order data at a later stage of the outbound process. The Allow Updating Outbound Order Lines upto and including field was added in the Warehousing Order Type (whinh0110m000) session, to decide up to which procedure step the warehouse order data can be modified. • Cost peg transfers

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the cost peg transfers functionality was added. Cost peg transfer orders transfer cost between two pegs. Cost peg transfer can be performed only within the warehouse. You cannot transfer the goods between two warehouses using cost peg transfer as they transfer only costs but not the physical movement of inventory. New sessions have been added to view the cost peg transfer data. A new Cost Peg Transfers tab was added with the following fields in the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session:

  • Number Group
  • Series
  • Step Size
  • History
  • Automatic Recalculation of Excess and ATT Inventory
• Support shipment variances on project WIP warehouses
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, to support shipment variances on the project WIP Warehouses, the Post Transfer Losses to Ship-to Warehouse field was added in the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session to book the transfer losses on the correct project, when the goods are transferred from or to a project WIP warehouse.
• Delivery Note

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can link the delivery note Series to a Motive of Transport. The following are the enhancements:

  • The Series and Document Date fields were added in the Delivery Notes (whinh4135m000) session.
  • Series field is added in the Delivery Notes (whinh4635m000) session.
  • The Delivery Note Series by Motive of Transport (whinh0130m000) and the Print Delivery Note Series by Motive of Transport (whinh0430m000) sessions were added.
• Landed Costs - ASN

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, landed costs functionality was added for the advanced shipment notices (ASNs). The following fields were added to the following sessions:

  • Landed Costs field was added in the Header Selection tab and the Landed Costs field was added in the Line Selection tab in the Print Shipment Notices (whinh3400m000).
  • Landed Costs field was added in the Header History tab and the Landed Costs field was added in the Lines History tab in the Print Shipment Notice History (whinh3450m000) sessions.
  • The Landed Cost Lines by Shipment Notice (tclct2100m200) session was added.
• New project deliverables flow
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, a new logistic flow has been initiated in Warehousing from Project. The shipment of project deliverables from a normal warehouse to a business partner. To support this functionality, a new Order Origin, Project Contract is introduced.
• Modify shipment data
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can modify the shipment data or the load data at a later stage of the outbound process. The following fields can be modified after the shipment documents are printed:

  • Ship-to Address
  • Delivery Point
  • Delivery Terms
  • Point of Title Passage
• Inventory - Cost peg distribution

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, cost peg functionality is introduced. Data elements are added to items, inventory and transactions throughout the flow of goods. The process of splitting up the item lines into multiple cost pegs is cost pegging. At item warehouse level, project inventory can be viewed sorted by peg. The cost pegs distribute the cost but not the physical identification of the items received. To support this functionality, a new session Generate Mass Warehouse Transfers (whinh2207m000) is added. You can also create warehouse transfer orders from project warehouse to project site for purchase receipts. To support this functionality, the following fields were added in the Generate Mass Warehouse Transfers (whinh2207m000) session:

  • Cost Component
• Integration - Warehousing Inspections and Non-conformance report

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can generate non-conformance material report (NCMR) from Warehousing inspections. To support this functionality, Non-Conforming Material Report field was added in the Warehouse Inspections (whinh3122m000) session.

• Outbound process - Cost peg distribution

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, cost peg functionality is introduced. Data elements are added to items, inventory and transactions throughout the flow of goods. The process of splitting up the item lines into multiple cost pegs is cost pegging. The cost pegs distribute the cost, but not the physical identification of the items received. The peg distribution details of the outbound process store the project cost accounts of the inventory that is issued. To support this functionality, the following enhancements were made:

  • Peg Distribution field and Peg Distribution option are added in the Outbound Order Lines (whinh2120m000) session.
  • New Outbound Order Line Peg Distribution (whinh2190m000) and Shipment Line Peg Distribution (whinh4528m000) sessions are added.
  • Recalculate Excess and ATT Inventory and Cost Peg Transfers fields added in the Process Outbound Advice (whinh4200m000) session.
  • The Recalculate Excess and ATT Inventory and Cost Peg Transfers fields added in the Generate Outbound Advice (whinh4201m000) session.
• Printing Peg Distribution
  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the peg distribution data can be printed on the reports. The Peg Distribution field was added to the following sessions:

  • Print Warehousing Orders (whinh2400m000)
  • Print Receipts (whinh3412m000)
  • Print Receipt History (whinh3460m000)
  • Print Shipments (whinh4430m000)
  • Print Shipment History (whinh4450m000)
• Single line per shipment

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can link only one shipment line to a shipment. The Single Line per Shipment field was added to the following sessions:

The label layout that describes how the labels must be printed can be modeled at warehouse order level and on order type level. To support this functionality, the Label Printed by domain was added. • Inventory receipt value

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the Default Inventory Receipt Value parameter was added to the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session to calculate the valuation of receipts.

• Projected shipments

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the Projected shipping status was added. This status can be used for shipments created when the outbound order line is created. You can also publish the status of the shipment. To support this functionality, the following sessions were modified:

  • The Projected Shipments in use field was added to the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session.
  • The Projected Shipments in use and Generate Projected Shipments Automatically fields were added to the Warehousing Order Type (whinh0110m000) session.
  • The Projected Shipments, Load and the Shipment fields were added to the following sessions:
    • Process Outbound Advice (whinh4200m000)
    • Generate Outbound Advice (whinh4201m000)
    • Release Outbound Advice (whinh4202m000)
  • The To Shipment Handling Unit field was added to the following sessions:

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, functionality to support CINDI was added. CINDI is a process used by automobile manufacturers. The following sessions were modified:

  • The Single Line per Shipment and Generate Multi-Item Shipment Handling Units fields were added to the Warehousing Order Type (whinh0110m000) session.
  • The Customer Item Revision field was added to the following sessions:
    • Outbound Order Lines (whinh2120m000)
    • Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000)
  • The Single Line per Shipment field was added to the following sessions:
    • Shipments (whinh4130m000)
    • Shipment History (whinh4550m000)

  The following new sessions were added:

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can view the shipping sequence information for a specific shipment line. To support this functionality, the following sessions were modified:

  • The Shipping Sequence option was added to view the shipment sequence information for a specific shipment line to the following sessions:
    • Shipments (whinh4130m000)
    • Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000)
    • Shipments (whinh4630m000)
• Consolidate stockpoints in single shipment line

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can consolidate the outbound advices that have different stockpoints into a single shipment line. To support this functionality, the following sessions have been modified:

  • The Consolidate Stock Points in one Shipment Line field was added to the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session.
  • The Effectivity Unit and the Inventory Date fields were added to the Shipment Line Stock Point Details History (whinh4553m000) session.
  • The functionality of the Effectivity Unit, Inventory Date, Lot and Serial Number fields with respect to the Consolidate Stock Points in one Shipment Line parameter was modified in the following sessions:
    • Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000)
    • Shipment Line Stock Point Details (whinh4133m000)
  • The Lots and Serials option was renamed to Shipment Line Stock Point Details. You can use this option to print the stockpoint details of the inventory:
    • Print Shipments (whinh4430m000)
    • Print Shipment History (whinh4450m000)
• History and Archiving

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the you can archive the history data. The following sessions were modified:

  • The Delete/Archive Warehousing Order History (whinh2255m000) session can be used to archive the warehousing order, warehousing order line, inbound order line lots and serials, inbound order line BOM, inbound order line peg distribution, outbound order line, outbound order line BOM and outbound order line peg distribution history data.
  • The Delete/Archive Load/Shipment History (whinh4251m000) session can be used to archive the shipment, shipment lines, shipment line lots and serials, shipping container, shipment line packing structure, shipment line ownership, loads, outbound ASN routings history data.
  • The Delete/Archive Cost Peg Transfers (whinh1245m000) session was added.
• Handling (accepting) rejected inventory

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can handle (accept) the rejected inventory in the inbound process. To support this functionality, the following sessions were modified:

  • The Peg Distribution field was added to the following sessions:
    • Inbound Order Lines (whinh2110m000)
    • Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000)
    • Print Warehousing Orders (whinh2400m000)
    • Print Receipts (whinh3412m000)

  • The Shipping Sequence option that starts the Shipping Sequence (whinh4520m000) session was added to the following sessions:

• Customer Furnished Material

  In Infor LN 10.2.1, the functionality of subcontracting with material flow was renamed to Customer Furnished Material. To support this functionality, the following sessions were modified:
