Changes in the outbound processes

In Infor LN 10.2.1, new data elements are added to the items/ inventory/ transactions through out the goods flow. As the item lines can be split into multiple cost pegs, a peg distribution level is required below the item line. When the peg distribution functionality is introduced in Warehousing, few steps of the outbound process are impacted. The additional peg distributions are also available for the outbound order line and the shipment line. The outbound order line peg distribution is updated with the following outbound process quantities:

The outbound order line cost peg distribution is created from the originating order. If the outbound order line originates from another package, you cannot edit the outbound order line data. This peg distribution is forwarded to the inbound order line.

The shipment line cost peg distribution stores the actual result of the actual cost peg distribution. This is created when the outbound order line and the shipment line are confirmed.
