| Update Exception Messages (cprao1210m000)Use this session to delete and regenerate exception message for items and/or
resources. Carry out the following steps to update and regenerate exception message: - Specify a planner. If
you leave the Planner ID field empty, LN only generates signals that are not directed
to a specific planner.

- Select a range of

- Select a range of
channels. (*)
- Select a range of
plan items. (*)
(*) Optional; if you do not select a range here, no exception
message of this type will be generated. In the Options group you can select the following check
boxes: - Delete Signals: select this check box if you want to delete existing
exception message.
- Delete Signals from Simulations: select this check box if you want to delete the exception
message that LN generated
during an order planning run or a master planning run.
- Delete Accepted Signals: select this check box if you want to delete the exception
message that you accepted in the Planner/Item Signals (cprao1125m000) session or in the Resource - Signals (cprao1130m000) session.
After you defined a
selection range, and selected the appropriate check boxes in the Options group,
click the Update button to start the exception message regeneration. Channel Specify the range of channels, if LN must update exception messages that relate to resources. From Plan Item Specify the range of plan items, if LN must update signals that are related to plan items. Options Delete Current Messages Check box

| Delete Accepted Exception Messages | Exception messages accepted from Exception Messages by Planner and Item (cprao1125m000) within the existing set of exception messages are deleted. If you delete accepted exception messages, you
also lose the information that these exception messages are accepted. If the
situation is such that some of these exception messages are generated again,
this means that you must evaluate and accept them again. If, on the other hand,
you do not delete the accepted exception messages, LN does not regenerate
these same exception messages, and you do not have to pay special attention to
them again. Note The following exception messages will not be deleted unless Delete Accepted Signals is selected: - Reschedule Out
- Reschedule In
- Cancel Order

Save Messages for Planner The employee number of the planner whose set of exception
message LN must
